Winter break 2019

As has become a tradition, our agency is taking a small time-out from shortly before Christmas until the second week of next year, in order to catch our breath and gain new energy for the new business year. Our office will therefore be closed from 20 December up to and including 8 January. In urgent cases we will as always be reachable by e-mail, with accordingly extended reaction times. We wish our customers and partners a pleasant pre-Christmas period and a stress-free end of year.

An extraordinary scale model building project

For 48DESIGN this project was an extraordinary and welcome diversion from everyday life as a digital agency with a focus on the web. It wasn't about a mere virtual 3D model to be used in the form of 3D renderings, but a real miniature model for an exhibition in a pop-up store. On behalf of public utility company Stadtwerke Karlsruhe, we took over the 3D scanning, modelling, handling of the 3D printing process and then the detailed varnishing. Reinventing ourselves

Sometimes it's time to let go of the past and reinvent yourself completely. With an outdated website, a relaunch of our company's own website was indispensable. This time, however, we did not only want to renew the website, but also revise the entire appearance of the Internet Agency. While the development of strategies for other companies is our daily bread, the development of a new corporate design for your own company is a much more difficult undertaking! Why "Agency for New Media Karlsruhe", actually?

There are indeed more common terms than "Agency for New Media". For example, we could have called ourselves advertising agency or internet agency. Why did we choose "Agency for New Media Karlsruhe"? At the time 48DESIGN was founded, we stumbled upon statistics saying that one of the most hated professions in Germany was that of advertising professionals, especially "employees of an advertising agency". According to current research, advertising agencies are still appearing in 2019 in various statistics on the prestige of professions. […]
